  1. its fine if they are running….. i think they are spinning to fast too catch a speck of dust…..

  2. Informational is not a word Mate. But thanks for the vid – I’m currently recovering a drive using HDDRegenerator and its taking 3days. Its showing 90+ Bad sectors right now but so far none-recovered. Does it recover after or during each bad find?

  3. For informational purposes, I would suggest that you click on the link to Gillware in the “more info” section. It sounds like you have a problem that is beyond what HDD Regenerator can fix. Don’t you think that looking up the word would be a good idea before trying to “correct” someone about it not being a word?

  4. I don’t understand why people are rude to someone who is going out of their way to provide information to people who don’t really understand this technical side to data recovery. Give the guy a hand for sharing free information for all the non-technical out there.

  5. I used “HDD erase 4.0″ in my HDD drive and now i can´t install windows.
I try use HDD Regenerator and all sectors are BAD(at least until now)
Do you know what to do?

  6. I need more info. Why did you use hdd erase in the first place? Are you saying that you think hdd erase is the reason you can’t install Windows? It seems more likely that you can’t install because of all of the bad sectors you’re detecting. I don’t think it has anything to do with hdd erase.

  7. First erase HDD because i couldn’t format(Windows XP boot doesn’t worked, always with a blue screen error). Then i try install Windows XP and in the setup say he can´t have access to the HDD. But i think a know a part of the problem, i had the jumper in the “cable select” and i dont have a Ultra ATA cable. So now i have in “Master”, but i just have here a laptop, i will need to get a cable adapter and try again.

    Soon i say the results.
    (Ps: Sorry for my english)

  8. hello, thanx for the info :) I had a WD hdd connected to my Mac when I had a power failure (it was writing to my hdd off a torrent when this happened) so I believe I have problem number one. I restarted my mac after the power failure but now the hdd lights up but doesn’t appear in disk utility or the desktop. What can I do to recover my over 150 gigs of valuable information? Details would really help.

  9. i get an error msg when i start my pc that HAL.DLL is missing…etc. is it that my hd crashed?

do you have an idea on what to do?

  10. You shoud be able to reapair using the windows xp disk, if you’ve got one

  11. I need some help.

I turned on my computer and it did a complete System Recovery without me wanting it to. (I think that’s what it’s called, it’s when your computer goes back to the state when you first bought it) None of my stuff is where it’s supposed to be, none of the functions that I downloaded are working. But when I did a search, I did find some of my files. How do I restore it all back?

  12. Cudo’s to you for the video attempt, there should be some corrections.
    1. Hard drives do not work because of On-Off switches. (A logic circuit could be thought of as an On-Off switch, but that’s a very gross analogy in this situation.)
    2. Dropping a drive does not de-magnetize it or destroy the On-Off switches. But it can physically harm the internal parts.
    3. FAT (and less so, NTFS), can be thought of as the Index and table of contents in a book.
    Youtube is limiting my response.

  13. whatever, what he teached is wonderful, but I can’t undersdand it completely. every time I encounter data lost, I use Deleted File Recovery , it ’s a free ware ,but good,I like it .also you can try it

  14. Very informative video. Thank you.

I’m no expert, however I believe in the future you should use an EXTERNAL mic to film. The audio could be better. An INTERNAL mic ALWAYS records the hum of the camera functioning. Just a thought…

  15. Hi my computer hard drive recently crashed, due to several factors. First my screen slammed on it real hard, started making weird noises thought it was dead, but later came back to life. Next I shut it down improperly and now it won’t read even via usb. Says generic void usb device. Is it really dead? Doesn’t make any noise now, whereas before it died it squealed like a pig. It’s very quiet now through usb connection,

  16. but when hooked on computer hard drive powers on and then turns off? Is there any hope?

  17. Perhaps you should PREPARE a speech before you record..

    Serriously, unwatchable.

  18. I’m sure you can do better right? Idiot.

  19. awsome

  20. bro, thank you for your time and devotion.
    all the best!

  21. hi, my pc crashed from a virus, if I use ubuntu cd 2 boot my pc and then use a external hard drive 2 recover my data will the virus still be there and get on the external HD? if so, how can I remove it? thanx in advance…

  22. The virus might be transferred to the external drive. You will probably want to scan what you’ve transferred first before moving the stuff back. I like to use Avast to scan the external drive.

  23. You might also want to scan the system after you reinstall the OS and migrate the data back.

  24. thanx so much for your help playaz…

  25. Hi, I want to backup a game and its patch from my pc to an external hard drive, how do I do that plz?
